Napper's library
What this is
Napper's library. 65 articles on sleep, feeding, development, and the parts of early parenting nobody warns you about.
It’s free. No app, no account.
Why it exists
Parenting a baby now means more responsibility and less company than it used to. Most of us are doing it without the aunt down the road or the neighbor who’s done it three times.
So we fill the gap with the internet, which has endless answers and no idea who your baby is.
The problem isn’t a shortage of information. It’s that you’ve read six things that disagree, it’s the middle of the night, and you still have to decide.
This library is for the deciding part.
What we won’t do
Research on 932 mothers found that how capable a mother felt about managing her child’s sleep predicted the harm of the sleep loss better than anything else about her or her baby. The strongest single signal was a comparison: the sense that other parents are better at this.
So we don’t do comparison. No “most babies by now.” No “other parents are already.” Measuring yourself against other parents is the harm, so we won’t hand you the ruler.

Who we are
Founded in 2020 by two fathers on paternity leave, doing what every new parent does in the small hours: looking for one answer and finding forty.
Napper is here to make bedtime easier for families worldwide.
Doulores
Doulores is Napper’s digital sleep coach. In the app, she plays a more hands-on role and can see how your baby is sleeping. Here she takes on the role of baby sleep guide.
